What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound and outbound calls to support patients and members with benefits, coverage, and scheduling
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, authorizations, and prescription renewals
- Assist with claims, billing questions, and account updates
- Document interactions in EMR and CRM systems with accuracy
- Communicate with providers and internal teams via phone, secure messaging, or email
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and protect patient/member confidentiality
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or supervisor
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of call center customer service experience
- 1+ year of healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, patient services, or benefits support)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple systems while handling calls
- Reliable high-speed internet and private workspace
- Stable work history with proven reliability
Preferred
- Experience with appointment scheduling or benefits inquiries
- Familiarity with EMR or CRM systems (Epic, Facets, etc.)
- Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology
