What You’ll Do
- Assist patients with billing, insurance, payments, and account questions
- Provide professional support across multiple communication channels
- Maintain accuracy in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech or similar)
- Review patient statements, EOBs, balances, and insurance data
- Offer payment plan guidance and resolution assistance
- Research information quickly through system tools and FAQs
- Support new hires through training and mentorship
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare call center experience
- Familiarity with EMR systems and healthcare terminology (EOBs, HIPAA, CPT/ICD codes)
- Strong communication skills and confidentiality mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
