What You’ll Do

  • Deliver high-quality patient support through inbound and outbound calls with a focus on first-call resolution
  • Manage inquiries across multiple communication channels using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
  • Review patient statements, explain benefits, and resolve questions about balances or payment plans
  • Assist with insurance-related questions using healthcare industry knowledge (HIPAA, EOBs, CPT & ICD-10 codes, HCPCS, DRGs, referrals, etc.)
  • Research and resolve issues quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide input for new hire training, mentoring, and probationary support

What You Need

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfort working with EMR systems and multiple screens simultaneously
  • Ability to manage sensitive patient information with professionalism and confidentiality
