Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shifts available any day of the week (8-hour schedules between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm PST; department operates 24/7)
- Must be available for occasional overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 6 weeks of paid training, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm PST
- Remote eligible if residing in Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones
What You’ll Do
- Meet patient support goals in satisfaction, accuracy, quality, and attendance
- Manage patient inquiries using dual monitors, phone, and multiple systems simultaneously
- Act as patient advocate, providing services involving complex and sensitive information
- Support patients with appointments, authorizations, claims, benefits, invoices, and eligibility
- Assist with telehealth coordination (e.g., DME, transportation, home health needs)
- Document and translate information accurately into system records
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve patient issues
What You Need
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams chat channels
- Ability to type 40+ WPM
- Flexibility to work full-time shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of healthcare setting experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency
- Experience working virtually and managing multiple computer screens while assisting customers
