- Remote – United States (multiple locations)
- Full-time, contract role with potential for permanent conversion
- Shifts available:
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm EST
- 9:00 am – 6:00 pm EST
- 10:00 am – 7:00 pm EST
- 11:00 am – 8:00 pm EST
- Pay: $23.00/hour
What You’ll Do
- Receive and review medical claims from patients and healthcare providers.
- Interpret EOBs and CMS-1500 forms, verifying documentation and compliance.
- Vet claims against program-specific rules to determine approvals or rejections.
- Provide additional customer support via phone, email, and fax as needed.
- Suggest improvements for claim workflows and operational challenges.
- Maintain accuracy and compliance with HIPAA standards.
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Billing Certification required.
- Coding Certification required.
- Experience in claim processing required.
- Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB).
- HIPAA certification required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Pharmacy Technician background a plus.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
