Title: People Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

You’ll join our People team reporting to our VP, People Programs & Operations and support programs that enhance the employee experience at NextRoll, from onboarding to offboarding. As a People Operations Coordinator, you will be an individual contributor, responsible for ensuring smooth processes, providing operational support, and helping to surface data-driven insights across the employee lifecycle. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, collaborating with HR, leadership, and other departments to ensure the seamless delivery of People programs. In this role, your work will have a direct impact on the employee experience, helping to create an environment that fosters growth, engagement, and operational excellence. You’ll be an essential part of the People Programs team, working alongside other dedicated professionals to shape and refine the way we support our employees at NextRoll.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Collaborate with IT, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Workplace Experience to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  • Manage new hire documentation, background checks, I-9 compliance, and E-verify processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee data across HR systems, including updates for hires, terminations, transfers, job changes, and compensation adjustments.
  • Handle ad hoc HR reporting requests, respond to internal queries (e.g., PTO accruals, address changes), and manage employment verifications.
  • Support offboarding process by notifying relevant teams, sending offboarding packets, and answering employee inquiries on HR-related matters.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, manage employee files, and handle office mail distribution.
  • Provide in-person support for workplace and Culture Club events to foster engagement and promote a positive workplace experience.

Skills you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of relevant HR experience or similar support role
  • Ability to be discreet and keep information confidential
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Nothing gets past you and your strong attention to detail, follow-through, resourcefulness, and being able to prioritize tasks
  • You’re invigorated by administrative work and looking for ways to increase efficiency
  • Context-switching doesn’t slow you down
