Randstad in partnership with The Hanover Insurance Group are actively recruiting for a temporary to permanent Premium Audit Specialist to support their commercial lines department in a remote or hybrid capacity.

Work directly internal and external key stakeholders, such as agent, underwriter, auditor, vendors, insureds, etc. Answer telephone calls in a customer service capacity assisting the insureds with audit related inquiries.
This role requires excellent attention to detail, very strong verbal & written communications skills, ability to problem solve and provide exceptional customer service. Assimilate to the department by learning a multitude of functions. The environment of this position is very fast paced with competing demands and requires efficient decision-making skills.
Responsibilities:
- Primary role is to answer telephone inquiries and provide resolutions to agents, insureds, or underwriters
- Monitor and manage audit mailboxes
- Learn the department role and workflows, relative to the organization.
- Identify the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved with audit transactions (which includes insured, agent, underwriter, auditor vendor, billing, legal, regulatory bureaus etc.).
- Understand/analyze the email inquiry, resolve and or delegate the inquiry as outlined in our best practices.
- Meet all deadlines and ensure all inquiries are addressed appropriately and promptly.
- Be aware and understand the special handling instructions and programs in the department.
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Adhere to best practices and utilize all department resource appropriately.
- Manage inquiry inventories and escalate priorities/concerns to the Management Team.
- Ability to work in multiple applications and systems
- Be proactive, insightful to anticipate the needs of the requestor.
- Review and access incoming requests and allocate or own outcomes as appropriate
- Assist with departmental support responsibilities such as work order generation, work assignments, and inventory allocation
- Execute the workflow and audit/worksheet preparation for the special audit programs
- Assist with vendor invoicing and reconciliation
- Ensure adherence to service levels
- Assist with additional team responsibilities/projects/support tasks when needed
