- Training requires 100% attendance for the first 60 days (no time off)
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls and faxes from members, doctors, and departments about medication coverage
- Verify eligibility and explain which medications are covered under a plan
- Assist callers in building prior authorization requests when coverage is limited
- Provide updates on authorization status and follow up with providers for documentation
- Enter data accurately into systems and maintain compliance with payer requirements
What You Need
- 1+ year of healthcare, claims, or medical administrative experience
- 2+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Strong knowledge of healthcare/medical terminology
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-related systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable hardwired internet (25mbps download | 10mbps upload)
- Your own 19″ (or larger) monitor with VGA/HDMI, wired mouse, ethernet cable (wired keyboard optional)
- Must commit to on-camera participation for interviews, training, and team check-ins
Preferred
- Prior experience managing or processing medication prior authorizations
