Position Summary

This position is broker/agent service centric, addressing compensation inquiries and processing critical data. It incorporates the ability to effectively meet service level standards and work in a team environment while able to contribute independently.

  • Analyst will distribute, analyze incoming inquiries from brokers, internal sales, and other various departments across organization.
  • Liaison for broker compensation department in relation to Individual and Family Plans compensation inquiries.
  • Analysts in this role are tasked with multiple functions, including but not limited to customer support, data analysis, account reconciliation, data entry, and conflict resolution, and phone inquiries to ensure that broker compensation payments are issued consistently, timely, and accurately.
  • Analyst will be responsible for creating, maintaining, driving workgroups across organization to find efficiencies in processes to ensure timely and accurate compensation payments
  • Complete data analysis and account reconciliation reviews across multiple source systems to respond to various customer inquiries. Provide customer support and facilitate conflict resolution for complex commission payment issues for a variety of internal and external customers.
  • Gather and provide timely commission and payment information in response to broker inquiries via written request or 800 line calls. Ability to answer 800 line calls in a professional demeanor; respond to caller in a clear and concise manner and handle escalated calls.
  • Data processing and problem resolution for various accounts payable inquiries, including but not limited to assignment of commissions; data processing of broker/plan sponsor relationships, data processing of compensation scale assignments for multiple products across Aetna Platforms

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience customer service/conflict resolution
  • Strong reconciliation, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office applications
  • Experience navigating systems helpful
