This position is a work from home support our TX or GA Property Teams.
Position Summary:
The primary job function is to evaluate, negotiate, and settle medium to high value claims in a timely and efficient manner as to prevent unnecessary expense to the Company and policyholders.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides complete, courteous and timely customer service to aid in the settlement process and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Maintains knowledge of current Company policy, claim developments, procedural changes and current values.
- Maintains comprehensive documentation of claim information for assigned files.
- Maintains diary of files in pending and update file information to ensure accurate record of claims; continually reviews and monitors progress and expense of claims in pending.
- Issues settlement payments based on predetermined payment authority and obtain appropriate releases for adjusted claims.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required and/or completion of an in-house training program
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
