What You’ll Do
- Research, categorize, and process incoming provider enrollment applications (855B, 855I, 855 RSA Reassignments, Reactivations)
- Enter and verify provider data in internal systems and CMS claims processing systems
- Conduct quality checks, create notification letters, and manage inbound/outbound fax queues
- Support providers through enrollment processes, including phone support and status updates
- Perform fraud detection, credential verification, and compliance checks with CMS guidelines
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of provider enrollment experience under a Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC)
- Minimum 1 year of experience processing CMS 855 claims
- Proficiency with PECOS and MCS systems
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) with advanced multitasking and data entry ability
- Knowledge of provider enrollment definitions, forms, and CMS regulations
