We are excited to bring on a Quoting Specialist to join our Group Protection Underwriting Support Team supporting Workplace Solutions.

The Group Protection Underwriting Support Team will help you grow your group benets knowledge and establish strong partnerships while working in this fast-paced environment.
As a Quoting Specialist for Group Benets, you will be responsible for interpreting prior carrier documents, census manipulation, and various other tasks in partnership with Underwriting and Sales on new business opportunities for groups with greater than 100 lives. You will be aligned by region and will provide support across the business as needed based on volume. This opportunity will provide the ability to grow within the group insurance industry while gaining new skills and building strong working relationships. What you’ll be doing
- Perform data entry and increasingly complex quoting-related activities for new quotes, amendment quotes and requotes.
- Review quoting information for completeness, gather missing information, , and screen for eligibility.
- Interact with internal customers in person and via phone in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively inuence the team and quality.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
- High School diploma or GED or minimum Associate degree in lieu of required experience. 3 – 5+ Years’ experience working in a sales or customer service environment.
- Ability to communicate eectively (verbal/written).
