Help connect families to trusted doula care. Pomelo Care is hiring a bilingual Referral Specialist to enroll clients referred by health plans, providers, and doulas into our national doula network.

By combining a technology-driven platform with personalized virtual support, Pomelo engages patients early, reduces poor pregnancy outcomes, and lowers healthcare costs. Following its acquisition of The Doula Network, Pomelo is expanding access to doula services nationwide to make maternal and infant care more equitable.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote (#LI-Remote)
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM CT
What You’ll Do
- Conduct outbound calls, SMS, and email outreach to referred clients to drive enrollments
- Document all referrals and interactions in the system of record with accurate, timely updates
- Match clients with doulas in the Pomelo Care network
- Coordinate with health plan case managers and providers to share updates and meet enrollment goals
- Confirm health plan eligibility through online clearinghouses and insurance portals
- Handle inbound calls from clients and partners, addressing questions and concerns
- Track referral progress and enrollments to ensure timely processing and communication
- Meet enrollment KPIs set by company goals
What You Need
- Professional fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience with healthcare referral systems and Medicaid health plans
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
- Strong organizational, documentation, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Passion for improving maternal and infant healthcare outcomes

Pay Transparency
$45,000 – $55,000 USD
