What You’ll Do
- Conduct benefit investigations and prior authorization support for patients and providers
- Assist physician offices and patients in completing insurance forms and program applications
- Track, follow up, and document prior authorization requests in CareMetx Connect
- Maintain communication with providers, payers, pharmacies, and internal teams
- Escalate reimbursement trends or delays and resolve issues efficiently
- Deliver exceptional customer service through calls and written correspondence
- Document adverse events (AE) per SOP and compliance requirements
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting (specialty pharmacy, insurance, physician’s office, or related)
- Knowledge of pharmacy and medical benefits, commercial and government payers preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and occasional overtime
