Schedule
- Full-time, remote within the USA
- Start Date: Thursday, August 21, 2025
- Dedicated workspace required
- Must provide 2 monitors (22″ or larger) with HDMI and DisplayPort capability
Responsibilities
- Answer high volume inbound calls; transfer and direct calls with professionalism
- Coordinate all front-office patient tasks, including appointment scheduling and transportation arrangements
- Input data accurately into Carenet systems and Electronic Medical/Health Record (EMR/EHR) databases
- Provide clinic information such as directions and hours of operation
- Verify patient insurance with health plans and update records as needed
- Communicate clearly with patients, caregivers, vendors, and healthcare team members
- Maintain patient privacy and adhere to HIPAA requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience in healthcare settings with scheduling and EMR/EHR systems (medical assistant, front office, or similar)
- Strong computer skills including data entry, screen navigation, Microsoft Outlook, and Word
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated empathy and compassion
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment
