Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Mandatory paid training: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm EST (camera on)
- After training: shift bid based on business need
- Must be open and flexible between 8:00am–9:00pm EST and some Saturdays
What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls from customers, caregivers, and referral sources (60–80 calls/day)
- Place new orders and reorders for medical supplies
- Research account and order issues and provide resolutions
- Provide product information and order status updates
- Resolve order discrepancies and handle customer complaints
- Collect required information for insurance billing and collect payment when needed
- Navigate multiple internal systems while on calls
- Explain insurance terminology and requirements in plain language
- Escalate complex issues to a Team Lead or Supervisor
- Follow compliance and regulatory standards and document interactions accurately
What You Need
- High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent experience
- 2–4 years of high-volume call center experience preferred
- Strong phone presence, active listening, and de-escalation skills
- Ability to hit common call center metrics (AHT, adherence, QA, speed to answer)
- Comfort using multiple systems and company-provided hardware daily
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Remote work experience preferred
- Healthcare customer service experience preferred
- Order placement systems experience preferred
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting mindset preferred
