Our Newest Opportunity:
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retirement Plan Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of pension plan administration, including data reconciliation, plan testing, and participant account management. You will work closely with clients to ensure the accuracy of census data, process participant loans and distributions, and prepare required reports and plan documents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
PENSION ADMINISTRATION
- Receiving and reviewing census spreadsheets from clients for accuracy; importing and exporting data into FT William’s pension systems
- Calculate eligibility, run contribution allocations, verify vesting
- Reconciliation of participant accounts, import contributions, distributions, gains/losses and fees
- Complete plan testing reports including ADP/ACP, cross-tested, top-heavy, etc
- Prepare Form 5500 and related schedules, valuation reports, plan documents, participant notices (Safe Harbor, QDIA, fee disclosures, etc)
- Process participant loans and distributions through various recordkeepers
GENERAL ADMININSTRATION
- Answer inbound phone calls from client participants – generate memos, emails and reports when appropriate
- Complete client and participant mailings
- Coordinate the preparation of correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external audiences
- Assist other departments with projects
Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:
- Knowledge of FT William’s a plus – training available
- Experience using Microsoft Office, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PDF programs desired
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
