Job Description Summary

You will focus on providing clients with education around distribution options and retirement product solutions via phone. You will build the path to an enhanced client experience and explore ways we can deepen and expand the relationship we have with our clients.

Responsibilities

  • You will help retirement plan participants to understand their options with their qualified savings
  • Staff at this level are learning products and handle routine inquiries. Receive instruction, guidance, and direction from advisors and leadership.
  • Provide customers with education and transparency around distribution and product solutions available to facilitate the client’s decision-making.
  • Learn all products and features, including applicable regulations, for an assigned specialty area
  • Deepen customer relationships with Transamerica by identifying opportunities for multi-product/service solutions and connect clients to other product specialists.
  • Be available for warm referrals from our Customer Care Center and conduct one-on-one meetings by phone to assist clients with retirement plan questions and provide information on product options.
  • Document activities in Salesforce.com and other systems as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience
  • FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 (required to be approved to do business in all states)
  • One year of experience in the financial services industry
  • Basic knowledge of financial products
  • Customer service, interpersonal and listening skills to effectively communicate and earn trust.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency using MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com) and digital financial advice platforms
  • Previous outbound and inbound calling experience preferred

It is estimated based on what a successful Colorado applicant might be paid. It assumes that the successful candidate will be in Colorado or perform the position from Colorado. Similar positions located outside of Colorado will not necessarily receive the same compensation. **

Compensation:

The salary for this position ranges from $41,000 to $44,000 annually. This rate is based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law. The rate may vary above and below the stated amount, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

Bonus Eligibility:

This position is also typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company Discretion at a rate of 5%.

Commissions:

This position may be eligible to earn commissions based on applicable sales incentive plan(s). All details pertaining to the calculation and payment of those commissions are available in the individual provisions of the sales incentive plan that applies.

This role provides a base salary along with a guaranteed floor of $1250 each month for the first 12 months.
