POSITION TITLE: Sales Application Specialist

POSITION LOCATION: Remote, US (Preferably Dallas, TX)

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sales Application Specialist is responsible for assisting the sales team to sell, present, project manage, and implement the prenatal education tool available through the accounts EMR. Broad interaction between Natera EDI personnel, Natera sales, client, and vendor resources.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in selling, managing the implementation and run analytics after the go live to ensure the workflow is working and to monitor growth of these accounts.
  • Provide field support for existing prenatal education accounts that have been implemented

Key tasks include:

  • Work with Sales Team on new prenatal tool requests
  • Coordinate projects with internal EDI Team
  • Provide training and on-site customer support for new prenatal tool implementations
  • Identify any existing issues or opportunities for improvement with their EMR interface and provide feedback to clients, vendors, EMR team, Sales, and Operations
  • Analyze EMR utilization data and work with clients to increase electronic orders rates
  • Work closely with EDI Team on key EMR initiatives and product updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have access to various
  • technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) to perform the job.
  • Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and
  • Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first
  • 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Associates Degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant related experience, preferably in the medical field or laboratory space
  • Must have knowledge of different EMR systems, lab workflow and client workflow.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable and proficient with presenting to accounts and training them on the tool
  • Self-motivation, with the desire and capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Endless curiosity and a need to dive deeper for understanding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate effectively with all audiences, including customers, commercial team and senior management.
  • Very strong analytical skills and ability to understand the details of the project/requirements
