Title: Scheduling Coordinator – Contact Center

Location: Horsham, Pennsylvania, United States

FULL-TIME/ REMOTE

In this position you will take part in America’s rich diversity and multiculturalism on a daily basis, working as part of a lively team in a fast-paced contact center environment, scheduling interpreters to ensure that communication is available for important events such as medical appointments, court cases, and emergencies. You will go home each day satisfied that you have helped people overcome language barriers in navigating complex structures such as healthcare, insurance, and the justice system. When our clients require in-person interpretation support, they count on us to find the most highly qualified interpreter that best suits their unique needs. We fulfill interpretation requests in over 200 languages across many industries, in a variety of settings. Interested candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with a very diverse group of clients, Interpreters and coworkers. The ability to provide exceptional customer service support is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and verify the necessary information to process on-site interpretation requests as they come in via phone, online, e-mail or fax
  • Contact and assign an appropriate Interpreter for each assignment, and send necessary information to the Interpreter for each request
  • Maintain a high level of customer service while receiving department average inbound call volume
  • Complete outbound calls to address client/interpreter needs
  • Provide excellent customer service addressing all client and interpreter needs
  • Collaborate on specific campaigns in a fast-paced team environment
  • All other duties as assigned by the Division Manager

Requirements

  • Working Internet Connection that meets internal speed requirement
  • A quiet work space free of distractions
  • Basic interest in foreign cultures required (knowledge of foreign languages helpful)
  • Customer service experience or Call Center experience required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Professional and positive phone manner with clients from all types of industry sectors
  • Must be proficient in current software packages (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point)
  • Attention to detail while effectively juggling multiple tasks
  • Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility as needed
  • College degree or equivalent work experience helpful
  • Regular and punctual attendance

Hours

  • 10:30am – 7:00pm from Monday to Friday
  • Saturday availability on a quarterly basis

Compensation

  • $16.00/hr.
