- Full-time, remote role based in the United States

What You’ll Do
⦁ Own the product roadmap for healthcare integrations, including HL7 orders/results, FHIR APIs, CDA documents, and custom EHR interfaces, with clear vision, KPIs, and ROI
⦁ Act as the subject matter expert on interoperability standards and protocols, guiding engineering teams on best practices and technical implementation
⦁ Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to gather requirements, define use cases, prioritize features, and ensure successful integration delivery
⦁ Champion workflow-centric design, ensuring integrations fit seamlessly into clinician workflows, minimize friction, and maximize usability and adoption
⦁ Oversee the full lifecycle of integration products—from concept and design through deployment, support, optimization, and iteration
⦁ Ensure integration solutions meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and other relevant security and regulatory standards
⦁ Define, track, and report on key metrics such as reliability, data accuracy, clinician adoption, and workflow efficiency, using insights to drive improvements
⦁ Stay ahead of emerging interoperability standards and technologies, designing scalable, modular solutions that support future growth and new use cases
⦁ Collaborate with engineering and support teams on incident response, triage, and prevention of integration-related issues, with clear communication to stakeholders
⦁ Develop documentation and training materials for internal teams and external partners to drive clarity, consistency, and smooth implementation
What You Need
⦁ Minimum 8 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR 6 years with a master’s, OR 3 years with a PhD
⦁ Deep understanding of HL7 v2.x (especially orders and results), FHIR (including SMART on FHIR), CDA, and major EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, etc.)
⦁ Proven experience delivering integration solutions in clinical or operational healthcare settings
⦁ Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate complex clinical and technical requirements into clear, actionable development plans
⦁ Experience with clinical workflows and how integrations impact provider efficiency and patient care
⦁ Demonstrated ability to balance ease of use with medical, regulatory, and legal constraints
⦁ Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams
⦁ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-customer collaboration skills
⦁ Bonus: Familiarity with integration engines (Mirth, Cloverleaf, Redox), payer–provider data exchange (eligibility, claims, prior auth), and cloud-based integration platforms/APIs
