We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Australian Solutions Engineering team. Our Australian office is based in Sydney, but we’re equally happy for you to join our team as a remote employee. For more information, check out: Hybrid at HubSpot

What You’ll Do:
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you’ll work closely with Account Executives and other Solutions Engineers to help drive the technical side of our pre-sales activities. You’ll assist in developing and presenting technical solutions, understanding customer requirements, and delivering value through HubSpot’s products and capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with Sales Teams: Partner with Account Executives to understand customer needs and develop technical strategies to meet those needs.
  • Lead Technical Pre-Sales Engagements: Drive conversations around integration, data migration, and custom technical solutions.
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as a voice for the customer, helping gather and relay feedback to product teams to ensure future product development aligns with customer needs.
  • Mentor and Coach Sales Teams: Guide and train Account Executives on HubSpot’s capabilities, helping them create value-oriented solutions for prospects.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with SEs across the globe on initiatives that improve team processes and customer outcomes.

Who You Are

You have experience in a customer-facing technical role and are looking to develop your career. You’re passionate about technology, problem-solving, and working as part of a team to deliver impactful solutions.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Technical Consulting).
  • Be a storyteller: You can convey technical concepts in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Focus on customer needs: You understand business challenges and craft solutions that drive measurable value.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills: You can break down complex challenges and translate them into actionable solutions.
  • Thrive in collaboration: You work well with cross-functional teams and contribute to a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
  • Experience with API integrations, data migrations, or technical architecture is a plus. Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms will help you hit the ground running.
