About the Company
This organization helps clients resolve outstanding debts by negotiating settlements with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers. The team focuses on creative, relationship-driven negotiations that lead to better outcomes for clients. You’ll be part of a fast-moving operation where results and follow-through matter.
Schedule
- Remote role
- Hourly pay: $15/hr, paid weekly (plus bonus)
- Expectations include frequent outbound communication (calls, email, fax) and consistent follow-up to keep negotiations moving
What You’ll Do
⦁ Sort and filter large Excel data sets to identify the best client accounts to target for settlement negotiations
⦁ Negotiate settlements with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers, and schedule settlement payments
⦁ Build, organize, and maintain creditor contact records and negotiation results for future use
⦁ Track accounts in active negotiation and follow up to keep timelines tight
⦁ Calculate client settlement payment options based on client budgets
⦁ Communicate efficiently via phone, email, and fax to drive agreements forward
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma required; BA preferred or equivalent experience/training
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication skills for 1:1 and small-group conversations
⦁ Solid math skills (rates, ratios, percentages) and comfort interpreting basic graphs
⦁ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
⦁ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and solve problems with multiple variables
⦁ Bonus: familiarity with Debt Pay Pro
