Schedule
- Remote
- Pay: $15/hour (paid weekly) + bonus
- Benefits begin the first of the month following 30 days of employment (per company plan)
What You’ll Do
- Sort and filter large Excel data sets to identify the best accounts to target for settlement negotiations
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of assigned clients and schedule settlement payments
- Build relationships with creditors, collection agencies, and debt buyers
- Organize creditor contacts and negotiation outcomes for future reference
- Track and follow up on accounts in negotiation to keep settlements moving
- Calculate settlement payment options based on client budget
- Communicate with creditors efficiently via phone, email, and fax
What You Need
- High school diploma required (BA preferred) or equivalent experience/training
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for client and creditor interactions
- Basic math skills including percentages, ratios, and interpreting bar graphs
- Intermediate reasoning skills with the ability to solve problems in standardized situations
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Bonus: Debt Pay Pro experience
