About the Role
As a Settlement Coordinator, you’ll take charge of negotiating settlements for a portfolio of clients, coordinating payment plans, and building strong relationships with creditors and debt agencies. This role is ideal for someone analytical, persistent, and ready to make a difference—all from the comfort of your home.

What You’ll Do
- Analyze large Excel data sets to identify optimal accounts for settlement
- Negotiate settlements with creditors, debt buyers, and collection agencies
- Build and manage long-term relationships with creditor contacts
- Organize contact results and account histories for internal use
- Follow up on all accounts being negotiated to ensure progress
- Calculate settlement payment options based on client budgets
- Communicate via phone, email, and fax to resolve account issues
What You Need
- High school diploma required; BA preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in negotiations, customer service, or call center environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel (intermediate level)
- Ability to sort, filter, and analyze large datasets
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to solve problems, manage time, and follow processes
- Knowledge of Debt Pay Pro is a plus
