Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Pay range: $18.67 to $21.96 per hour
- 8-hour shift scheduled within department operating hours
- Hours of operation: Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 7:00pm, Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm

What You’ll Do
⦁ Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
⦁ Contact provider offices to obtain required documentation and clinical details for prior authorizations
⦁ Manage assigned workflow queues and keep cases moving through the process
⦁ Set up prescription orders and document information accurately and thoroughly
⦁ Ensure patient records are complete, including demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities, and payer details
⦁ Communicate with doctors and patients via phone, fax, or other channels to facilitate prior authorization approval
⦁ Follow all legal and ethical compliance standards and support compliance program objectives
⦁ Assist other areas as needed with prior authorization-related duties
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
⦁ Minimum 2 years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience preferred
⦁ Strong phone skills, organization, and attention to detail
⦁ Ability to work scheduled shifts that may vary based on department needs
⦁ Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with teammates and external partners
⦁ Bonus: CPhT preferred
⦁ Strong plus in states requiring licensure: pharmacy technician license or pharmacy technician trainee license
