We’re looking for an amazing Standby Coordinator professional to fill this role. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of Family & Friends, Travel Advisor, ESA, and non-revenue staff bookings for both Holland America Line and Seabourn. This includes processing and verification of applications, making bookings in our POLAR reservations system, as well as answering questions via email or phone.

Responsibilities
- Processes Family & Friends, Travel Advisor, and Employee Space Available requests for Holland America Line and Seabourn. This includes validating applications and forms and making reservations in POLAR.
- Assists in the administration and confirmation of reduced rate bookings including staff (vacation and business) and other reservations. Ensures that payment is received as necessary.
- Assists with specialized cruises (e.g., Team Activation cruises, Shakedowns, etc.) as requested by Supervisor.
- Monitors the Holland America Line and Seabourn Family & Friend and ESA inboxes and responds to all general inquires and correspondence to assist employees with their travel plans.
- Monitors and answers the incoming phone lines for the Holland America Line and Seabourn Family & Friends, as well as our Travel Advisor Standby Line.
- Assists our Ship Inventory department with oversells as needed.
- Assists with any projects as needed as directed by Supervisor or Director.

Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum one-year customer service experience.
- Preferred Experience with Holland America Line or Seabourn reservations.
- Preferred Experience with Travel Industry.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- To work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Familiar with Microsoft products (outlook, excel, word).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
