What You’ll Do

⦁ Handle inbound member and non-member phone calls across multiple queues (basic, advanced, advertise), providing information and support on credit union products and services

⦁ Assist with account and loan transactions, including transfers, withdrawals, advances, payments, check orders, password/PIN resets, and more while maintaining account security

⦁ Process and/or forward external payment requests from members accurately and efficiently

⦁ Support member live chats, delivering the same high level of service in writing as on the phone

⦁ Cross-sell appropriate products and services that align with member needs and financial goals

⦁ Meet and exceed productivity, quality, and sales goals in a fast-paced call center environment

What You Need

⦁ College degree OR a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the financial industry or a customer service call center

⦁ Previous sales experience in financial services is preferred

⦁ Excellent verbal communication skills with a positive, upbeat, and enthusiastic personality

⦁ Professional telephone demeanor and the ability to handle difficult member interactions with tact, empathy, and professionalism

⦁ Comfort working with minimal supervision while staying accountable to performance metrics

⦁ Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet browsing

⦁ Ability to obtain Level 1 lending authority within 4 months of hire (6 months for part-time, if applicable)

⦁ Ability to maintain a reliable work-from-home setup that meets Jovia’s technical and workspace requirements
