Summary of Role
At Health Advocate, we are committed to providing our customers with services that improve the health, well-being and productivity of their employees. We are looking for the right person with experience who can design, improve and deliver training programs for the Operations staff. In addition, the trainer will be required to interface with many internal and external resources to access training needs and evaluate the quality of the work performed post training.

Pay Rate
Hourly rate starting at $19.00.
Hours/Shift
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees have flexibility to work any of our 8.5 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00 am -10:00 pm EST). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Job Summary
• Assess training needs, recommend, design, develop and implement training programs/workshops for new and existing employees
• Design and develop learning material using instructional design techniques and variety of media
• Work effectively with managers to determine training needs for improved performance
• Work with/ prepare subject matter experts to deliver training
• Implement learning initiatives to support new hire assimilation programs
• Ensure learning plans meet functional needs to support larger enterprise-wide strategies
• Counsel trainees on status of their performance level in class and create developmental action plans
• Foster ongoing improvement of training execution methods and tools
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree or applicable work experience
• Minimum two years training experience
• Experienced with adult learning theory
• Instructional design experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Highly proficient in time management, organization, planning and prioritization
• Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment
• Excellent communication (written and oral), presentation and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated track record of successful interaction with members of management and line-level employees
• Proven initiative, positive attitude, team oriented, self-motivated and highly enthusiastic
• Ability to travel (minimal)
• Exceptional computer skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, Visio, Articulate, Camtasia; familiar with learning management systems
• Healthcare experience a plus
