Job Description
This is an international, fully-remote, freelance contractor position, working from home, at a location outside of the United States. We are particularly seeking candidates who are based in Latin America. Europe is also a consideration.

There is flexibility in your work hours but we expect that you will generally maximize your overlap with Denver, Colorado hours (Mountain Standard Time).

The work will all be conducted in English.

We are looking for a Traveler Care Support Specialist who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, has a passion for international travel and is seeking a career opportunity in the tech & travel industry.

This detail-oriented person will be responsible for a variety of tasks geared towards ensuring the Traveler Care Team is running as efficiently as possible. The work will range from processing reviews, helping with ancillary projects, and other administrative tasks that help the Traveler Care team become more productive and effective.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry with high accuracy (e.g. enter data provided directly from customers and colleagues, update existing data, verify data by comparing it to source documents, etc.)
  • Organize and coordinate traveler reviews process, ensuring timely follow-ups, reviewing, etc.
  • Maintain our travel insurance program, generate insurance quotes, and provide travelers with appropriate information
  • Coordinate flight requests with flight specialists
  • Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails
  • Assist Zicasso’s Care Team members with various administrative tasks
  • Assist in resolving and tracking customer opportunities
  • Learn to utilize Zicasso’s data, analytics, and technology to create new standards of customer success and excellence for the luxury travel industry.

Those who excel in the role will be given the opportunity to take on increasingly complex projects and initiatives, and grow their role and responsibility within the Traveler Care Team.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • Excellent fluency in oral and written English
  • Detail-oriented and strives to achieve quality, error-free work
  • Ability to work remotely both independently as well as in a team environment
  • Passionate about travel — highly desirable if you have traveled abroad extensively and have a strong curiosity about new international destinations
  • Strong customer service focused skills
  • Adaptable to different styles of communication and traveler behaviors
  • A cheerful and confident person who naturally builds relationships
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Comfortable with technology and readily able to learn and adapt to the use of new software
    Highly motivated and enthusiastic; ready and willing to put in extra effort in a start-up environment to drive company success
  • Can-do, flexible attitude
  • Thorough knowledge of Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) (e.g. Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
