Position Overview:
As a Vietnamese Remote Agent within the IRIS division, you will be responsible for facilitating language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community in a variety of settings, including customer service, medical, and other verticals via audio and video. Language Services Associates is continuously accepting qualified interpreters!
Responsibilities:
� Provide effective audio and video remote interpreting
� Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
� Perform basic troubleshooting for technical issues
� Provide superior customer service
� Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
� Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
� Complete assigned training(s) and participate in ongoing Quality Assurance monitoring
Qualifications/Experience:
� International opportunity
� Full fluency in both English and Vietnamese
� Technology proficient (including but limited to: web based platforms, email, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel)
� Preferred – professional interpreting experience
� Preferred – industry specific certifications/trainings (CMI, CCHI, etc.)
� Preferred – proof of 40+ hour medical interpreting training (ex: Bridging The Gap, Cross-Cultural, etc.)
