We’re seeking a Remote/Hybrid Administrative Assistant to provide advanced administrative and clerical support to Account Managers, Brokers, and department operations. This role includes guiding peers, assisting with training, and contributing to special projects to improve team efficiency and success.

Schedule

  • Full-time, remote/hybrid (U.S.-based; specific state eligibility applies)
  • Reports to Administrative Assistant Team Lead

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support to Account Managers, Brokers, and operations
  • Prepare, process, and distribute quotes, invoices, bind requests, and compliance documents
  • Manage renewals, policy checks, loss runs, and data accuracy across Veracity systems
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and logistics for team members and leadership
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and cross-departmental projects
  • Maintain digital and physical files in compliance with standards
  • Support onboarding/training of new staff and contribute to process improvements
  • Handle shared inboxes, mail, phone coverage, and general office support tasks
  • Monitor deadlines for renewals, filings, and milestones
  • Uphold professionalism, confidentiality, and customer service in all interactions

What You Need

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 2 years of surplus lines/insurance industry experience OR valid Property & Casualty license with 1+ year related admin/CSR experience
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills preferred
  • Administrative or accounting background a plus
  • Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Compensation

$18/hr – $23/hr
