Schedule & Contract Details
- Contract role: 4 months
- Full-time, remote position
- Training: 2 weeks, virtual, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM ET
- Shifts: Between 8 AM–10 PM ET, Sunday–Friday (preferences considered)
- Compensation: $22/hour + December time-off for all Contract Associates
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional member support via phone, chat, and email.
- Educate members on their healthcare benefits and how to maximize their Garner benefit.
- Guide members to access the highest-quality care at the lowest possible cost.
- Handle complex and sensitive conversations with empathy and professionalism.
- De-escalate frustrated members and provide clear solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to resolve issues.
- Document feedback from member interactions and escalate as needed.
- Stay current on evolving procedures and protect member privacy under HIPAA standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of call center or customer service experience.
- Healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset.
- Proficiency with customer service tools (e.g., Zendesk).
- Comfortable adapting to a fast-paced startup environment.
