Subsidiary Pets Best, founded in 2005, provides affordable, comprehensive insurance and wellness plans for dogs and cats nationwide, with a mission to make veterinary care more accessible.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote within the U.S.
- Early shift: 10:30am–7:00pm EST
- Includes a Saturday shift (8:00am–4:30pm EST)
- One weekday off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday) + Sunday off
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound calls, chats, and emails regarding policy coverage and claims.
- Build rapport with policyholders using active listening and empathy.
- Assist policyholders in understanding policy coverage, claims processes, and reimbursement.
- Retain customers by recommending policy changes or coverage enhancements.
- Meet performance expectations in a metrics-driven environment.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal insurance regulations.
- Accurately use multiple technical systems for policy servicing and claim support.
- Perform additional projects or duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of insurance claims processing or customer support experience.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) Producer License.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in medical terminology or veterinary technician support a plus.
- Prior contact center experience.
- Strong oral/written communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to review, record, and organize written data effectively.
- Must be 18+ and pass background checks.
- Meet Violent Crime Control Act Section 1033(E) requirements.
- Bandwidth/Internet: Minimum 50 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload.
