Pharmacy Technician I & II – Remote
Job Description:

The primary function of a Pharmacy Technician with Elevance Health’s PBM Ingenio-Rx is to contact members that have been identified as having a gap in or issue with medication adherence. This is a call center within Elevance Health. Our lines of business include Medicare, Medicaid, and the Commercial populations. How you will make an impact:
- Verifies member information and inputs data for the pharmacists.
- Educates members on pharmacy based rules related to prescriptions and medication resources or assistance programs.
- Provides resolution to grievances and appeals issues.
- Responds to inquiries from physicians, sales team, and members related to formulary and prescription benefits
- Generates reports relating to rebates, physician utilization, Beers Criteria, Reliance members, and other ad hoc reports.
- Maintains record keeping of prior authorizations, rebates, and monthly reports.
We are looking for candidates who can support our patients during these hours:
- 12:00-8:30 PM (PST)
- 1:00-9:30 PM (MDT)
- 2:00-10-30 PM (CST)
- 3:00-11:30 PM (EST)
Pharmacy Technician I
Required Qualifications
- Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Current State Pharmacy Tech. Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) required.
Preferred Qualifications
- For URAC accredited areas, the following professional competencies apply: Associates in this role are expected to have strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
Pharmacy Technician II
Required Qualifications
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- 2 year of pharmacy experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Current State Pharmacy Tech. Certification or National Certification based on applicable state(s) required.
Preferred Qualifications
